Corporate video production in Sydney

Brand, internal and recruitment films from our Sydney team, for clients including Rio Tinto, Bloomberg, P&G and Coles.

We make films for organisations that need customers, staff and recruits to understand something and act on it. That ranges from a cruise-ship shoot in Sydney Harbour to an animated film for a software company in Melbourne.

Lexi Hayes, Managing Director, APAC, leads our Asia-Pacific team, with trusted local crews on the ground in Sydney. We’re rated 5.0 on Clutch from 62 reviews.

Mastery at Sea

BBC StoryWorks pitched Cunard a film about the craft behind life at sea, then asked us to make it, aboard Queen Elizabeth in Sydney Harbour.

The brief

Mastery at Sea was BBC StoryWorks' idea, pitched to Cunard. They brought us in to produce it and film it while the ship was in Sydney.

On board

We had two days on the ship while it was docked, with a director, camera team, talent and hair and make-up. We then blended our footage with Cunard's own.

The edit

We edited and sound-designed the film in-house, and cut a 30-second version for social. BBC StoryWorks published it on its site and LinkedIn.

Video production in Sydney, sized to the job

Every project starts with what the film has to do and who has to act on it. Storypulse™, our audience-led method, maps your channels, rivals and audience, and reads your existing films against what works.

Then we plan the shoot, the cut and the versions each channel needs, so one shoot gives you more films for more platforms.

Not every film needs us. An internal event film may only need a freelancer who can shoot and edit. A series your marketing depends on needs a full team.

02What Sydney buyers ask

Questions about working with us in Sydney.

Yes. For Coles, one of Australia’s leading retailers, our work includes an e-commerce hero film.

A Sydney client wrote on Clutch in August 2024: “We have already recommended Casual for other projects within the business”.

Yes. BBC StoryWorks commissioned us to produce and shoot Mastery at Sea, a two-minute branded film for Cunard. In its words on Clutch: “The video was shot over two days when the cruise ship, Queen Elizabeth, was docked in Sydney Harbour.”

Our teams in eight cities include Sydney and Singapore, and trusted local crews join when a shoot is somewhere else. Our Singapore team filmed three stories for Fortune Brand Studio, in Macao, Malaysia and Singapore. If you can’t be on set, you can watch over an HD remote dial-in.

Beyond the region, we film all over the world: so far in 396 cities across 67 countries and territories. See international video production and our offices.

Yes. Our teams work 24 hours across time zones on fast-turnaround projects. A London producer who commissioned scenes from us in Sydney wrote on Clutch: “Considering the time difference it was very smooth!”

Yes. In Australia, we made the Coles Store Support Centre Graduate Program campaign for Havas People in 2023, with social cuts that ran on TikTok, and a values film for law firm Allens’ partners’ conference.

Recruitment films are a speciality: we have won Work of the Year at the Recruitment Advertising & Design Awards twice. See recruitment films and internal communications.

We agree the measure up front and track what each film does against it. A Sydney client wrote on Clutch: “our video achieved above-average view-through when looking at similar branded video campaigns for the APAC region”.

If it isn’t doing its job, we keep working until it does. That’s the Casual Guarantee.

Most live-action films we make sell for A$20,000 to A$75,000, and most animated films for A$12,000 to A$45,000. We scope each film against the value of the action it has to drive.

Usually about eight weeks from brief to finished film, and it can be a lot faster with a brand we already know.

You approve a written treatment before anything is filmed, and from the start you get a project plan with milestones and deadlines. Two rounds of changes are standard, and we keep working until the brief is nailed, within reason.
