Soltec, a leader in solar photovoltaic energy, came to us for a product launch video for their new solar tracker: the SFOneX.
The brief required us to recreate a complex setting: a rainy football stadium with custom branding. We proposed shooting it on a virtual production set, which allowed us to achieve an ultra-customized look and feel.
In virtual production, LED panels are used as a backdrop for a set, on which video or computer-generated imagery can be displayed in real time.
We created a 3D rendering of a Soltec-branded stadium, added 10,000 3D people in the background for the crowd, and even had practical rain on set.
